Pinktober, also known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month is always a big deal, for the Buddies for Life Magazine cover shoot. This year, the team at Word for Word Media and Buddies for Life, decided that they wanted to go pink! So we did a bright pink background that complimented our beautiful super survivors. They also wanted to showcase how survivors create beauty with tattoos, that not only tell their story but also celebrate the journey they have gone through. Our super survivors featured on the cover this month are Alison Chapman, Monita Vrey and Kathy Phillips. These incredibly beautiful and brave ladies joined us for their shoot, which took place at our sponsors, Fotacs's studio. Even though, they were a little nervous, they looked stunning in front of the camera. Each lady has a special story and reason for having her tattoo, if you would like to read these stories, visit the Buddies for Life online publication.
