Tamzin is a beautiful, talented and very special lady. She is not only a mom of two beautiful girls and a wife, but also a lawyer, a property developer and a finalist in Mrs SA 2016. 

We met Tamzin during Mrs SA 2016 and to say she touched and changes our lives, is an understatement. As part of her campaign, she wanted to do a photoshoot focusing on and illustrating that she is proudly South African.

So, we chose the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, not only is it full of history but it's a stunning location. Tamzin looked gorgeous in her blue dress, which accentuated her beautiful skin and stunning makeup, that was done by Face It. 

We must say a huge congratulations to Tamzin, for making it all the way into the Top 10 in Mrs SA 2016. With such fierce competition and so many stunning contestants, this is definitely something to be proud of.

Michelle decided to book her mom a glamour shoot, while she was visiting from Ireland. Because of this, Michelle asked if it would be possible to have a few photo's of them together, as her mom doesn't come out as often as she would like. We obviously thought this was an awesome idea! We love doing mom & daughter shoots...they are always so special!

But, what we didn't know at the time was, this was going to be a super special photo shoot...and Michelle didn't know what was going to happen. So, while Shandre was doing Michelle's makeup and hair, and we were doing Maura's shoot. She let us in on the little secret!

Michelle's fiancé had convinced her that it would be a great idea to do the shoot that morning, as they were supposedly going to a Black & White charity event that evening. And, he thought it would be really special for both ladies to have had their hair & makeup done for the event...it was kind of like kill 2 birds with 1 stone. 

However, his was not really the case...Michelle's fiancé had actually planned the perfect secret wedding for the two of them, that evening. And, it was Maura's job to keep Michelle away from all the preparations! 

As you can imagine, this caused loads of bouncing, giggling and happy smiles in the studio, as Maura was so excited to see Michelle's reaction that evening!

Two of the most beautiful things, we as women can wear, is confidence and a smile. And, that's why we loved working with Maura so much... she has both in abundance.

Last week, we shared Michelle's glamour shoot and guess what, Maura happens to be her mom.

Maura actually lives in Ireland, so when she came to South Africa to visit her family. Michelle decided to give her a Femme Fatale Bespoke Glamour Shoot, as a gift. Which, we think is just so special!

While Shandre was busy with Maura's makeup and hair styling, she confided in us that she doesn't like to be in front of the camera, as she isn't photogenic. Well, we are pretty sure that you will agree with us, she is drop dead gorgeous on camera!

Michelle is probably one of the most elegant ladies we have ever met. She is lovely in every way and her laid back nature made her so easy to work with! Michelle joined us for a glamour shoot, as she wanted some beautiful photos of herself for her hubby to be.

When she arrived at the studio, she was a bit nervous but really excited about doing a photo shoot, as she had never done one before. Michelle brought such stunning outfits with her, and after going through them, Shandre pampering her with gorgeous makeup and hair styling.

It was really wonderful working with Michelle, she is so photogenic and elegant, which made it so easy to create magic with her.

We never really need an excuse to do a shoot, but our awesome sponsors, Fotacs, distributors of Vanguard Camera Equipment and Photon Lighting, recently gave us the perfect one. They needed a "behind the scenes" photo of us using their fantastic products, to demonstrate how we use them. For us, this was just an excuse to have both of us in studio... at the same time... which is very rare, and so much fun!

Rozi is not only one of our fabulous makeup & hair stylists... she is also a lady we love to work with! You may even recognise her, from some of our previous work. She is everything we love at Femme Fatale... sensual, sexy and beautiful.

However, this time, we wanted something a little different... something that complemented both Rozi's and our darker and more adventurous side. So, we settled on a steampunk theme and created a set at the Fotacs studio in Centurion.  As Rozi is so talented, she did her own makeup and hair styling and provided the outfit as well.

As you now know, the main aim was really to get some behind the scenes photos for our sponsors. But obviously, we did get  some really great shots of Rozi!  Have a peek at what we got up to, on this fun shoot:

 Ms P visited our studio toward the end of last year, she wanted to do a sexy shoot for her hubby to be.  However, the twist was, she wanted to do it fully clothed but still show off her amazing body... so we did a boudoir inspired glamour shoot.

When Ms P arrived at our studio, she was giddy with excitement and nerves... and carrying a large bag full of gorgeous outfits! She excitedly pulled everything out, so we could see all the beautiful options! We couldn't wait to get the shoot started, when she showed us her skin tight leather pants and to die for heels.

Ms P started to relax while sipping on her champagne and having Shandre work her magic to produce stunning makeup and hair. We had the best time with this pretty lady, once her nerves abated, the sexy vixen came out and we got so many hot images!

Last week, we posted the first part of our Black and Gold concept shoot with the foxy Miss Roxy. This is the second part of the shoot, where we decided to add a red lip and some gold foil to the look.  A red lip is often used to add drama and sophistication to a look... And, we really love how it enhanced the black and gold eye makeup. 

Once again we have to thank Makeup by Monique for the concept, and for the fabulous makeup, Roxy who is an awesome lady to work with, L'il Delights for the divine cupcakes and Fotacs for loaning us the Photon lighting to play with!

Ms M came to our studio, as she was looking for a few gorgeous photos of herself...And she definitely walked out with more than a few stunning photos! She wanted a sensual but still beautiful photo shoot, with more focus on glamour shots than boudoir ones.

When Ms M arrived, she was so excited yet extremely nervous. But, calmed down quickly, once Monique started to wave her magic brushes and do her hair and makeup.

This lady is not only gorgeous, but also has a scarf addiction... she bought so many different and beautiful scarves with her to the shoot. It was so hard to choose which to incorporate, as we loved them all!

Ms M is fabulous and beautiful in every way... and her wicked sense of humour, had us giggling the whole way through her shoot!  Between her sexy red leather jacket and her pretty scarves, her shoot ended up being a combination of glamour and boudoir.

Last week was the annual Photo & Film Expo at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, this is the biggest photographic event in Africa. It's always well attended by photographers looking for great deals, as well as, those wanting to learn from some of the most talented photographers in the industry.

It was a huge honour for Chantal to be asked to speak on the Vanguard Training Stage again this year. She didn't only represent femme fatale boudoir, but also the awesome and fantastic Photon Lighting and Vanguard Camera Bags & Tripods. Working alongside her was our very talented Makeup by Monique, who did the most incredible makeup & hair styling for our beautiful and versatile model, Roxy.

The first day, Thursday 19 November, was dedicated to the use of continuous lighting. Therefore, Chantal decided to demonstrate how easy it is to do a styled Glamour Photography using continuous lights.

Her shoot was inspired by one of the most beautiful flowers currently in bloom, the hydrangea or Christmas Rose. Roxy was dressed in a gorgeous pink tutu, and Monique did the most stunning pink makeup, soft up-style and put hydrangeas in Roxy's hair and on her face.

Beautiful Liv is one of the ladies who we love to work with...over and over again. As she is not only drop dead gorgeous, but also one of the sweetest ladies we know, not to mention extremely intelligent as well!

Liv is currently living in Vienna, as she is completing her studies. But, when she mentioned she was coming back to South Africa, for a holiday. We jumped at the opportunity to work with her again. With it being Spring time, and we obviously wanted to celebrate it! We decided to do a Pretty in Pink inspired shoot. This required us to get our hands a little dirty for a change, as we made Liv's stunning flower crown, as well as the tutus she is wearing...if we are to be honest...we had the best time doing so!

Shandre made sure that Liv's hair and make up looked gorgeous, with a pretty and soft smokey eye and pink lip. After Shandre worked her magic, we were ready to start the shoot. Liv's skin tone beautifully complemented the different shades of pink...it was the perfect combo! 

To Liv, it's always awesome working with you...you are so beautiful in every way! We wish you the best of luck with your studies and we look forward to our next shoot together!

Meet Monique
Monique is one of our super talented make-up artist and hairstylists. She has the most incredible friendly and bubbly nature... and manages to put everyone she meets at ease. She is a true master of all styles of make-up & hair. With Monique, you just know you will be in the hands of one of the best!

The Shoot
Monique did her own glamorous hair and make-up...before stepping in front of the camera. She was a little uneasy at first but soon relaxed and her shoot was filled with loads of giggles and fun. Monique is gorgeous both inside and out...she is one of the few people that you will meet and immediately love because she radiates true beauty.

What do you want to be remembered for?
I want to be remembered for being the person responsible for making women feel beautiful about themselves and giving them the opportunity to see themselves as gorgeous human beings.

What is your idea of beauty?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I believe this statement is so true, as each of us sees the world differently, what might be beautiful to me may look totally different to the next person.

What inspires you?
My family inspires me to believe that I can be and do anything. My job as a Make-up Artist and Hairstylist really inspires me to challenge myself to create opportunities in life. When ladies go "wow I never thought I can look like that" it gives me the inspiration I need, to know that I am doing a great job.

What is your favourite piece of clothing?
Love shoes - not that I can wear heels very often, as I am so tall!

What kind of lingerie girl are you ? bustier, corset, bra & panties, etc?
Bra and panty set (my favourite being the Victoria Secret set - I got as a gift from my husband)

Meet Shelley
One of our beautiful, extremely talented and passionate photographers. What most people don't know, is Femme Fatale Boudoir was actually her idea... and it was Shelley who pulled all of our team members together to create our amazing and successful boudoir studio.

Shelley is a bubbly, energetic and really gorgeous lady, who is just fabulous at everything she does. Not only is she an extremely talented photographer, she also writes one of SA's best blogs: All things Pretty and if you are not already...it really is worthwhile following her! 

The shoot
Our shoot was loads of fun... Monique did Shelley's fabulous makeup and hair, before Chantal finally got her in front of her camera. We giggled and laughed the whole way through this shoot and as you can see Shelley has the most divine Iron Fist shoes that she loves to bits! They are so gorgeous, we even dedicated part of the shoot just to them.

The most beautiful thing about a woman is her smile followed closely by her eyes…when she smiles her eyes smile & for me that is what true beauty is all about...moments of pure joy & happiness!

Do you consider yourself a Femme Fatale?
I think every woman (including myself) has a little Femme Fatale in them…I mean, who doesn't love to get all dressed-up and be told how sexy they are. However, most of the time…I am not much of a Femme Fatale. You are more likely to find me hanging out in jeans and takkies with my friends or in my house in pyjama’s (can you tell I love them!) 

What is your favourite piece of clothing?
All my close friends have seen me arrive in these to their houses – it’s my pyjamas of course!

What kind of lingerie girl are you – bustier, corset, bra & panties, etc?
If it can’t be pyjama’s...it’s so hard to choose but I would have to go with a bustier – its uber sexy and makes you feel like you can take on the world!

Lee-Ann has a very busy life, as she is not only a mum to three beautiful and boisterous daughters but she also home schools them. So, as you can imagine, she was in desperate need of some TLC and 'me' time. And...what better...than a glamour shoot, to make you feel gorgeous and amazing!

To start off her spoiling session, Lee-Ann sipped on some champagne, while Shandre did her stunning hair and makeup. Then it was time for Lee-Ann to be photographed and let her inner vixen out. At first this sexy blonde-bombshell was a little shy and nervous, but after a few minutes she relaxed in front of the camera and had a lot of fun.

Sithembile is a sensational and courageous woman who recently went through some difficult months, due to illness, divorce and family members passing away.  During this time, this brilliant and creative business woman and mom of two boys admits she let herself go a little.

So... she decided it was finally time to do something for herself, and she contacted us about doing a glamour shoot.  She wanted to do something to make herself smile and more importantly, feel good about herself again. Her belief, being the same as ours, is that every woman should feel good about herself and when she does it radiates from the inside out. Sithembile really wanted to feel like a princess for a day.

Her glorious journey started with a glass of champagne, while Monique did her magic and made Sithembile look and feel fabulous with the most beautiful airbrush makeup. Then it was time to start the shoot, it was filled with giggles and laughter, and when she saw how gorgeous she really is, we took a break for some tears.  Finally Sithembile saw what others did, a stunning woman who is perfect just the way she is.

When we delivered the images she said to us, the sad angry little mouse I became is not present in the photos.  Just the happy beautiful me.  I realised, by accepting myself I could overcome all the negative I had been through.

Sithembile, you are gorgeous, fabulous and a true femme fatale!  We loved every minute of your shoot and we know you will continue to grow from strength to strength!
