First off, before we talk about the gorgeous Ms M, we must apologise for not posting as often as we would like. We have been extremely busy photographing, editing and creating cheeky albums for clients... which sadly we are unable to share with you guys.

There are so many reasons that clients decide to do a Boudoir Photo Shoot... And our favourite has to be the one that Ms M had! She wanted to do it for HERSELF. She was needing a boost as she had lost a bit of her confidence.

She arrived at our studio extremely shy and nervous about her session. However, her nerves soon disappeared, as Monique added some sexy curls to her hair and created a beautiful yet soft smokey eye.

After she started pulling out some of the sexiest black lingerie and killer heels, we have ever seen... we were ready to get started. With a little direction on posing and loads of giggles, magic started to happen! We just love how she came out of her shell, and oozed sex appeal on camera. 

We are sure you will agree, Ms M is smoking hot.... And, she agrees with us, that she has zero reasons to have any self-doubt!

We just can't say this enough: we have some of the most incredibly gorgeous clients! They are beautiful inside and out, and Ms B is no different. 

On the day of her shoot, as Ms B was telling us all about her up-coming business trip, Shandre did her stunning makeup. While we continued to chat and get to know Ms B, we discovered that herself and her man, are huge sports fans (I'm sure you will notice from the photos below, just how much). So, she brought a sports shirt, cap and even a soccer ball to incorporate into her shoot. We just love personal props and had such fun with them!

We are sure you will agree, Ms B is just the right mix of sexiness, sportiness and femininity! And, she had an incredible day at our studio, where she not only had fun but also left looking and feeling good about herself...but let's be honest, we would too, if we looked as incredible as she does!

This is the third and final part of Ms K's shoot. Having shed all of her self doubt, she asked if we could do some black & white fine art nude photos. As we love trying new things, we were up for the challenge.  We love how the black & white worked so well with this style of lighting, and how the photos show a very sensual side of Ms K.

Last week, we shared Ms K's boudoir shoot with you. This week, we are sharing the first part of her fine art nude shoot, which is entitled 'I am Woman'. It is completely different to her boudoir shoot and shows another side to this gorgeous lady. We kept it separate, as this was a really profound shoot for all involved.

The concept for the shoot, was to illustrate and show all aspects of Ms K, as the beautiful and amazing woman, she is... Her strength, femininity, sensuality, sadness and self love.

We are so blessed to have the most amazing ladies visit our studio, and Ms B is one of those, who we just adore!  She visited us, as she wanted a sensual and beautiful gift to give her fiancé on their wedding day.

On the day of her shoot, as Ms B sipped on a glass of pink champagne, Monique did her stunning makeup and hair. While we chatted about ideas for her shoot and different poses.  ​Once Monique had finished her magic and transformed Ms B into the sex goddess, she is, we unpacked all her fabulous outfits. We loved all the goodies especially the little black body suit... which is always a great outfit for a boudoir shoot! As Ms B's excitement mounted in the studio, we just knew it was going to be a fun and sexy shoot! And, we weren't wrong about that! 

After meeting and spending time with this beautiful lady, we were surprised that she didn't feel comfortable in her own skin. We are sure you will agree, she's absolutely gorgeous & sexy! And, she had an incredible day at our studio, where we fell in love with her, as she is just so beautiful in every way. As boudoir photographers, we really love having our ladies returning for another shoot ... it gives us a chance to try something new or add something we didn't do at the previous shoot.  So when the beautiful Liv told us she was coming back to South Africa and wanted another shoot we were really excited!

While she had her hair and makeup styling done by Shandre, we discussed what she had in mind for this shoot.  Previously we had focused on a more demure, pretty look and this time she wanted more sensual, but we had to use her new red lingerie set.    When we saw it, we had to agree, the red really looked amazing against Liv's chocolaty smooth skin.   We love how the outfit added the va va voom to the shoot, while her soft and elegant mannerisms made the images very sensual, this is certainly one of those shoots we really enjoyed.

This gorgeous young lady is definitely one we would love to work with again, and we hope that you will visit us again soon Liv.

We love working with Ms Scarlett, as she has the most beautiful strawberry blonde hair and creamy pale skin...which look so stunning on camera.

We have worked with her several times in the past, and every time she brings something new and fresh to the shoot. This time, she bought the most incredible red lingerie...which worked so perfectly with her skin tone. In addition, she brought a fabulous black and gold set that not only looked amazing but we loved too.  As usual, Ms Scarlett was super excited for her shoot and enjoyed being pampered by Monique who did her hair and makeup.

Sex appeal and sultriness ooze from this glamorous young lady...her beautiful features and amazingly long legs made this shoot unforgettable! We love working with her and cant wait to plan our next shoot with her!

Ms M came to our studio, as she was looking for a few gorgeous photos of herself...And she definitely walked out with more than a few stunning photos! She wanted a sensual but still beautiful photo shoot, with more focus on glamour shots than boudoir ones.

When Ms M arrived, she was so excited yet extremely nervous. But, calmed down quickly, once Monique started to wave her magic brushes and do her hair and makeup.

This lady is not only gorgeous, but also has a scarf addiction... she bought so many different and beautiful scarves with her to the shoot. It was so hard to choose which to incorporate, as we loved them all!

Ms M is fabulous and beautiful in every way... and her wicked sense of humour, had us giggling the whole way through her shoot!  Between her sexy red leather jacket and her pretty scarves, her shoot ended up being a combination of glamour and boudoir.

Often when our ladies walk into our studio, we are astounded by their beauty, and also by their lack of confidence and self esteem.  Ms R was one of these ladies ... she is a blonde bombshell, and drop dead gorgeous.  We couldn't believe that she didn't see how fabulous she was.

While Ms R sipped on some champagne, we unpacked her outfits, and wow they were beautiful.  We loved the detail of every piece, and especially the Marilyn Monroe inspired purple swimsuit which looked amazing on camera!  Ms R's nerves slowly disappeared as Shandre did her gorgeous hair and makeup, and then it was time to start the shoot.

At first Ms R was worried about how to look sexy on camera, but that changed after we showed her the first photos.  Suddenly everything changed, it was an incredibly special thing to watch as her self confidence grew with every photo we took ... we just love the sultry attitude she started giving us.

From the minute we met Ms S at one of the Wedding Expo's last year, we just knew she would be fabulous on camera.  She is not only sassy and sexy but also a beautiful mom of one. She decided to do her boudoir shoot with us for herself ... our favourite reason!

Ms S was pampered by Monique, who made her look and feel gorgeous, with stunning hair styling and soft feminine makeup, which made her beautiful eyes pop! We just loved her outfit selection, some playful outfits, a few sensual ones and then the long over-the-knee socks, which caused many giggles in the studio!

The beautiful Ms D recently visited us for her second femme fatale boudoir experience, and she is just amazing in front of the camera!  This sexy and sassy mom of three is an inspiration to us and all other women.  As she is not only totally comfortable and confident in her own skin but also embraces her stunning curves.

This time around Ms D wasn't at all nervous, instead excitement filled our studio as we went through the gorgeous outfits she had brought along with her. The items worth a special mention, as we are heel addicts, are her to-die-for Iron Fist shoe collection.  Before we started the shoot and while Ms D sipped on some chilled bubbly, Shandre did her magic, which resulted in beautiful makeup and hair styling.

Ms D is really special to us, if you have seen her previous shoot, you may remember that she requested that we did not photoshop, or edit her images, in any way.  She knows she is is gorgeous and wants to prove to her daughter that photoshop is not necessary to make you look beautiful and sexy. This time was no different, and we do have to agree with her .... she is beautiful just the way she is!

As this is our last blog post for 2015, we thought it should be something not only inspiring but also a little different. On the last day of the Photo & Film Expo on the Vanguard Training Stage, Chantal decided to demonstrate how to photograph the beautiful milk bath.

The milk bath has always been something that has fascinated women throughout the ages, the most famous of those was Cleopatra. She was said to be the most beautiful woman on earth, her soft radiant skin was the envy of everyone, and she said her secret was to bathe in donkey's milk. She used to add honey, lavender and rose petals to scent it, but as you can imagine, this is just not practical to do in a photo-shoot situation.

Therefore, we re-created the milk bath scene using a kiddies blowup pool filled with warm water, a bottle of Fenjal Bath Oil and a bunch of flowers. While Monique did Roxy's gorgeous hair and makeup, we set everything up. The set included a ladder, a versatile Vanguard tripod and Photon Continuous lights.

We just love how the water moves around the body, and how sensual and beautiful the Milk Bath is.  It is definitely something we want to do again.

The third presentation in the series of talks by Chantal at the Photo & Film Expo was 'Essentials of Boudoir Lighting'. 

Foxy Miss Roxy is so awesome to work with, so we asked her to be our model again.  This gorgeous young lady is extremely versatile, and this time she chose a sexy black steampunk feel outfit that suits her personal style. Our super talented Makeup by Monique did the most beautiful smokey eye for Roxy and finished up her look with a gorgeous hairstyle, which perfectly complimented Roxy's outfit choice.

Roxy's final look prompted us to do something a bit different from normal ... and we decided to create a simple but really beautiful set from a pop up backdrop, a red chair and some dark coloured organza.  As our demonstration was about using the Photon Continuous lighting, we created the whole look on stage, and showed how to add different lights to change the feel of the photo.  

Our aim was to illustrate the simplicity and softness of continuous lighting, and we demonstrated some easy tips & tricks to achieving great looking images, and this was really well received by our wonderful audience.
