How to prepare for your shoot?

Please send me more info!
In order for us to create the most amazing experience for you it is important you do a little preparation beforehand.  Here are a few tips:
  • As a professional Make-up Artist will be doing your make-up, please arrive with no make-up on, so a clean and moisturised face. Please advise us of any allergies before the day of the shoot.
  • Wash your hair the night before and avoid adding any hair products as we will add during your styling.
  • Have a facial at least a week before the shoot, but avoid any chemical peels
  • Have your eyebrows shaped a few days before your shoot
  • If you wax or use depilatory creams, please do this a couple of days before the shoot to minimise marks left by the hair removal methods.  If you shave, you can do this the night before or morning of the photo-shoot.
  • If you want to have a spray tan, please ensure this is done by a professional supplier, and at least 2 days before.  It is preferable that you DO NOT spray tan as it does often look uneven and blotchy. NO self-tan please!
  • Please avoid suntanning lines and getting sunburnt before the shoot.  The lines will be visible in the final product.
  • We do take photos involving your hands and feet, so if you do wear nail varnish please ensure it is not chipped.  Its best to treat yourself to a mani & pedi beforehand
  • Drink loads of water and moisturize in the days leading up to the shoot
  • Clean the bottoms of your shoes so they are not dirty in the photos
  • Touch up your hair colour
  • Have a good meal before the shoot, it is hard work and you need the energy.  Bring some refreshments with to give you a boost.
  • Make sure your clothes are well fitting and not loose or too tight
  • Remove the tags off any new clothes you have purchased
  • Look up some ideas on what you like and send them to us!
  • Rest well the night before the shoot
