This is when Laurelle found Pumla, a fabulous lady who not only just became a Grandmother but who also beat Breast Cancer, and the best part, was up for the challenge.  That doesn't mean that on the day she wasn't nervous, cause we could  see how she was shaking, while Chris Williams, from Estee Lauder did her makeup. However, she started to relax and shared her very empowering story with us. While Rozi from Image Alchemy, was doing the body painting, Pumla told us how she decided to take control of her life and own the battle. From first not wanting to face the dreaded news of the cancer, to trying an approach with a herbalist, and then facing it head on and seeing a specialist at Helen Joseph Hospital and Milpark.  She decided she was going to "fight like a girl" and her determination paid off, as she kicked Cancer's butt. 

This beautiful cover would never have happened if it hadn't have been for such an amazing lady, and we have to thank Pumla for taking the leap of faith with us.  Your beautiful smile, infectious laugh and incredible sense of humour just shines through in every photo.

First off, before we talk about the gorgeous Ms M, we must apologise for not posting as often as we would like. We have been extremely busy photographing, editing and creating cheeky albums for clients... which sadly we are unable to share with you guys.

There are so many reasons that clients decide to do a Boudoir Photo Shoot... And our favourite has to be the one that Ms M had! She wanted to do it for HERSELF. She was needing a boost as she had lost a bit of her confidence.

She arrived at our studio extremely shy and nervous about her session. However, her nerves soon disappeared, as Monique added some sexy curls to her hair and created a beautiful yet soft smokey eye.

After she started pulling out some of the sexiest black lingerie and killer heels, we have ever seen... we were ready to get started. With a little direction on posing and loads of giggles, magic started to happen! We just love how she came out of her shell, and oozed sex appeal on camera. 

We are sure you will agree, Ms M is smoking hot.... And, she agrees with us, that she has zero reasons to have any self-doubt!

Tamzin is a beautiful, talented and very special lady. She is not only a mom of two beautiful girls and a wife, but also a lawyer, a property developer and a finalist in Mrs SA 2016. 

We met Tamzin during Mrs SA 2016 and to say she touched and changes our lives, is an understatement. As part of her campaign, she wanted to do a photoshoot focusing on and illustrating that she is proudly South African.

So, we chose the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, not only is it full of history but it's a stunning location. Tamzin looked gorgeous in her blue dress, which accentuated her beautiful skin and stunning makeup, that was done by Face It. 

We must say a huge congratulations to Tamzin, for making it all the way into the Top 10 in Mrs SA 2016. With such fierce competition and so many stunning contestants, this is definitely something to be proud of.

It was so wonderful to be part of your journey and we look forward to working with you again.

Ms D wanted to do a different kind of maternity shoot, she wanted to do a maternity boudoir shoot...which obviously we were, so on board with. A glowing preggie mom and beautiful lingerie - we love!

Ms D is one of those ladies that is just such a ray of sunshine, she glowed through her whole shoot, and has the most gorgeous smile. As you can see, we couldn’t get enough of it!

Ms D wasn't as nervous as she thought she would be. She said to be honest, more than anything she was generally uncomfortable, as she was ready for her little boy to be born now. Her gorgeous makeup & hair was done by our super talented makeup artist Monique.

When she was in studio with us, she was pregnant with her second son and was literally about to pop. Her gorgeous baby boy, Ryder, was born just over a week after our shoot…so it was definitely well timed 🙂 As I’m sure you can see from the photo’s below, we had a fantastic time capturing her gorgeous and precious belly! Wishing Ms D and her family all the happiness in the world!

Michelle decided to book her mom a glamour shoot, while she was visiting from Ireland. Because of this, Michelle asked if it would be possible to have a few photo's of them together, as her mom doesn't come out as often as she would like. We obviously thought this was an awesome idea! We love doing mom & daughter shoots...they are always so special!

But, what we didn't know at the time was, this was going to be a super special photo shoot...and Michelle didn't know what was going to happen. So, while Shandre was doing Michelle's makeup and hair, and we were doing Maura's shoot. She let us in on the little secret!

Michelle's fiancé had convinced her that it would be a great idea to do the shoot that morning, as they were supposedly going to a Black & White charity event that evening. And, he thought it would be really special for both ladies to have had their hair & makeup done for the event...it was kind of like kill 2 birds with 1 stone. 

However, his was not really the case...Michelle's fiancé had actually planned the perfect secret wedding for the two of them, that evening. And, it was Maura's job to keep Michelle away from all the preparations! 

As you can imagine, this caused loads of bouncing, giggling and happy smiles in the studio, as Maura was so excited to see Michelle's reaction that evening!

Ms J is a gorgeous blonde bombshell, who kept us on our toes, by bringing her & her fiancé's favorite champagne to incorporate into the shoot. We have never included champagne into a shoot before, only drunk it before...hehe! It was great fun, thinking of ways to make sure it featured, as it is very special to the two of them. 

Ms J's was not as nervous as she thought she would be and chatting away to us, while having her makeup & hair done. Which was done by our talented in-house makeup & hair stylist, Monique. We are sure, you will agree, Ms J is super sexy! And, she had an incredible morning at our studio. She not only had lots of fun with us, but also left looking and feeling good about herself.

The champagne that Ms J brought, was such a unique prop to include, but it made her shoot really special. Just shows, you mustn't be afraid to bring a prop, that is precious to you into our studio, we will always do our best to include it in your boudoir shoot.

Two of the most beautiful things, we as women can wear, is confidence and a smile. And, that's why we loved working with Maura so much... she has both in abundance.

Last week, we shared Michelle's glamour shoot and guess what, Maura happens to be her mom.

Maura actually lives in Ireland, so when she came to South Africa to visit her family. Michelle decided to give her a Femme Fatale Bespoke Glamour Shoot, as a gift. Which, we think is just so special!

While Shandre was busy with Maura's makeup and hair styling, she confided in us that she doesn't like to be in front of the camera, as she isn't photogenic. Well, we are pretty sure that you will agree with us, she is drop dead gorgeous on camera!

Michelle is probably one of the most elegant ladies we have ever met. She is lovely in every way and her laid back nature made her so easy to work with! Michelle joined us for a glamour shoot, as she wanted some beautiful photos of herself for her hubby to be.

When she arrived at the studio, she was a bit nervous but really excited about doing a photo shoot, as she had never done one before. Michelle brought such stunning outfits with her, and after going through them, Shandre pampering her with gorgeous makeup and hair styling.

It was really wonderful working with Michelle, she is so photogenic and elegant, which made it so easy to create magic with her.

We never really need an excuse to do a shoot, but our awesome sponsors, Fotacs, distributors of Vanguard Camera Equipment and Photon Lighting, recently gave us the perfect one. They needed a "behind the scenes" photo of us using their fantastic products, to demonstrate how we use them. For us, this was just an excuse to have both of us in studio... at the same time... which is very rare, and so much fun!

Rozi is not only one of our fabulous makeup & hair stylists... she is also a lady we love to work with! You may even recognise her, from some of our previous work. She is everything we love at Femme Fatale... sensual, sexy and beautiful.

However, this time, we wanted something a little different... something that complemented both Rozi's and our darker and more adventurous side. So, we settled on a steampunk theme and created a set at the Fotacs studio in Centurion.  As Rozi is so talented, she did her own makeup and hair styling and provided the outfit as well.

As you now know, the main aim was really to get some behind the scenes photos for our sponsors. But obviously, we did get  some really great shots of Rozi!  Have a peek at what we got up to, on this fun shoot:

Deciding and booking to do a boudoir shoot, is both exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time, for any lady. And, this was especially true for the gorgeous Ms C.  Even though she had met us before, she was still nervous when she arrived at our studio. It took several sips of champagne, before she calmed down and started to have fun.

Shandre, one of our amazing Makeup and Hairstylist, created a gorgeous soft purple smokey eye for Ms C, that we loved and suited her to a T. At first, we tried to tame Ms C's beautiful curly hair. However, the more we tried, the wilder it became... BUT you have to admit, these wild curls are incredibly sexy and look amazing on camera.

Sexy, wild and fabulous, are the words that come to mind when we think of Ms C. We had the best time with her and can't wait for her to visit us, for her next shoot.

We just can't say this enough: we have some of the most incredibly gorgeous clients! They are beautiful inside and out, and Ms B is no different. 

On the day of her shoot, as Ms B was telling us all about her up-coming business trip, Shandre did her stunning makeup. While we continued to chat and get to know Ms B, we discovered that herself and her man, are huge sports fans (I'm sure you will notice from the photos below, just how much). So, she brought a sports shirt, cap and even a soccer ball to incorporate into her shoot. We just love personal props and had such fun with them!

We are sure you will agree, Ms B is just the right mix of sexiness, sportiness and femininity! And, she had an incredible day at our studio, where she not only had fun but also left looking and feeling good about herself...but let's be honest, we would too, if we looked as incredible as she does!
